Goddess of swamps and flower crowns, Antheia was one of three goddesses known as The Graces. She was the goddess of flowers, blossoms, vegetation, and human love. Often pictured as an attendant of Aphrodite.
For this colourway I took inspiration from swampy greens and yellows mixed with muted floral tones. One of the dye stocks I used for the colourway has a tendency to break which intersperses small blue speckles across the skein. I thought these looked so sweet I have opted not to change the recipe and instead embrace them like wildflower petals floating onto the top of a spring marsh.
