Nyx, The Primordial Goddess of Night, born of Chaos. She very rarely plays large roles in the mythology but appears as a respected character. When she shelters her son Hypnos from Zeus’ persuit in the Iliad Zeus stops chasing him as he is seen to have Nyx’s protection. Nyx also birthed many different deities most of whom had darker or less appealing traits, Ker (destruction) Momus (blame) and Eris (strife).
Nyx’s colourway is the last semi tonal of the collection. A deep black with grey and purple undertones. This is definitely a true semi tonal so the fabric will have some light variegation when knit up but not enough to be considered a low contrast variegated.
